Winter Plague The Plague Book 2 eBook Isla Jones

I was happy to see that this was a stand-alone book when I started it, but now? I need more.

This is a very good zombie book. Winter has survived five months with only her dog, Cleo, for companionship. She comes across a group of survivors headed to Washington D.C., which is also her destination because her sister lives there, so she joins them.

The soldiers leading the group are trying to complete a mission to move "cargo" to D.C. We don't know what this cargo is or why it is so important? They are offering protection to survivors, but, ultimately, the cargo is the most important thing to them.

Of course, there are other humans that want what they have and the book ends with the aftermath of a violent confrontation, and that is where I stopped and said, "What? It's over?" There isn't another book. I need another book. I want to know what the cargo is. I want to know about Winter's sister. I want to know if there is an explanation for the zombie apocalypse.

So, please, write a sequel. We need a sequel.

I definitely recommend this book, unless you can't stand open questions that might never be answered.

Sequel, please.

Winter Plague The Plague Book 2 eBook Isla Jones Reviews

This is a great book. Different in a good way!
This was a good read, plenty of twists and turns, I enjoyed it! It was a unique voice in a richly populated genre.
Good story, read it to end. Gotta read sequel, gotta know what happens next! Recommend this book without any qualms.
Great story. Wondering what happened to bring ok two. Goes to 3 then four. Anybody know? Love the story but hate missing anything going to three first after one
I thoroughly enjoyed this well written, apocalyptic type story. I was drawn in by the character, Winter, who survives A LOT throughout her journey. Ending is good and this is just a cool story.
I would recommend this book to those who want to curl up with a good story to get lost in for a few days.
Pretty good reading story. The ending is not what I wanted, but I know that some writers of stories like this really write like it might be
if something like this really happened.
I really liked reading about Winters secret way of staying alive as long as she did. Think the walking dead way of moving through
areas with the infected. hint, hint.

Not sure if this will be a series , but if there is a book 2 then I would like to read it.
Why when you have obviously not bothered to even watch a few hours of American t.v. let alone read an American novel or two would you try to portray your "heroine" as a young American? I could maker an endless list of laziness but here's just a glaring few; Americans over 6 month's old don't wear "jumpers" or "trainers" we end word's with er not re ex. center not centre and REALLY my favorite PETROL!! Here's a huge plot twist you might have considered, Winter is trapped in the U.S. when the zombie plague hits! All this had a very slight chance if only you didn't compound your problems by trying to portray Winter as someone who is smart enough to somehow know thing's like how to hotwire cars and survive all on her own for some extended period of time but to freaking stupid to figure out some (ANY) way of carrying a 5 lb dog be sides IN HER DAMN HANDS! And last but not least the best weapon she can come up with is a kitchen knife !?! w.t.f? I know you did zero research but here's a tip; this is America we have way more guns then people! Of course perhaps some miracle happened toward the end of the book- I could only make it 60% through. The only way I could have continued would be by somehow climbing into my kindle coming out to winters world and strangling her with my bare hands.
